UChicago APALSA
The University of Chicago Asian Pacific American Law Students Association is a student organization dedicated to promoting community among its members and a diverse educational environment at the Law School.
In order to foster professional and personal developments of its members, we facilitate mentorship programs between students and alumni and host employer receptions and dinner events. We serve as a network for the Asian Pacific American students and professionals at the Law School and Chicago.
We invite practicing lawyers, professors, and jurists and host panel talks regarding various academic topics, professional guidance, and diversity issues.
Lastly, we organize social events, participate in local legal clinics and community organizations together, provide academic support, and distribute recruiting materials to create a warm community, help students adjust to life at the Law School, excel as students and valuable members of the legal community and society.
We welcome anyone to become part of UChicago APALSA.
